Kidbaton Terms of Use
Last updated: November 7, 2026
Please read these terms before using Kidbaton ("the app"), operated by Jin Zhang ("we"). By using the app, you agree to them.
1. For parents and guardians
The app is for parents and legal guardians to manage their children's classes and activities. You may only add a child if you are that child's parent or legal guardian (or have their permission). Children should not use the app themselves.
2. A planning tool, not a guarantee
The app helps you plan schedules, make-up classes, fees, drop-offs and pick-ups. It does not replace your own care and supervision of your children. Reminders and notifications can be late or missing (for example when a phone is off, offline or has notifications turned off), so always confirm arrangements with your family and the school or studio.
3. Holidays, school rules and fees
Public holiday data, holiday templates and school or studio rules are provided for convenience, based on the official sources shown with them. They can be wrong or change. Fee and make-up calculations are based on what you enter. The school's own notices and contracts always take precedence.
4. Your content and family sharing
You are responsible for the information you enter and share. When you invite family members, they can see or edit the children's information you share according to the role you give them. Only share with people you trust, and do not enter information about other people's children without permission.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
- Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Family Cloud is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription that includes Pro and is shared by your whole family (up to 10 members with an account).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are charged to your App Store or Google Play account. Free trials or introductory prices, if offered, are shown before you buy; when a trial ends, the subscription starts unless cancelled.
- Billing, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple or Google. You can manage or cancel anytime in your store account's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If Family Cloud ends, sync stops after a 30-day grace period. The data on your phones stays, and the server data is kept for 180 days so you can resubscribe.
6. Apple's standard EULA
On iOS, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, for example by trying to access other families' data, interfering with the server, or reverse engineering the app to get around its protections or purchases.
8. Changes to the service
We may change features to improve the app. If we ever end a server-based feature such as Family Cloud, we will announce it in the app in advance and make sure you can export your data.
9. Liability
We work hard to keep the app reliable, but it is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the app (including missed classes, pick-ups or payments), except where caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.
